To 5-{3′-[3-(N-BOC-N-methyl-amino)-propane-1-sulfonyl]-biphenyl-4-yl}-1-(2-chloro-phenyl)-3-[di-(trifluoromethyl)-hydroxy-methyl]-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (9.0 mg, 0.012 mmol) prepared in Example 285, were added dichloromethane (0.5 mL) and trifluoroacetic acid (9.0 uL, 0.12 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 48 hours, washed with distilled water, 1N hydrochloride, a saturated solution of sodium hydrogen carbonate, and brine, dried on anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and then concentrated under reduced pressure to give 5.0 mg of the titled compound as a pale yellow liquid.
