2-Hydroxy-3-(methoxy-naphthalen-1-ylmethyl-carbamoyl)-acrylic acid methyl ester, paraformaldehyde and 4-amino-butyric acid were reacted using the method described for the synthesis of Compound 810 to give the title compound as an orange powder (0.0217 g, 45% yield). 1HNMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ: 8.09 (1H, d, J=8.05 Hz), 7.87 (2H, t, J=768 Hz), 7.57–7.41 (4H, m), 5.35 (2H, s), 4.16 (2H, s), 3.56 (3H, s), 3.54 (2H, t, J=6.33 Hz), 2.38 (2H, t, J=6.58 Hz) 1.91 (2H, t, J=6.22 Hz).
