Reaction Steps
Ethanol (20 ml) and a 4N hydrochloric acid solution in ethyl acetate (2 ml) were added to 4-(6-chloronaphthalene-2-sulfonyl)-1-[4-ethoxycarbonylamino-1-(4-pyridyl)-4-piperidylmethyl]-2-piperazinone (1.3 g) obtained in Example 1, to dissolve the material. Subsequently, ethyl acetate (200 ml) and ether (200 ml) were added, the resulting precipitates were filtered off, and washed with ether to obtain the colorless amorphous title compound (1.26 g).
