(L)-Arginine (124.6 mg, 0.72 mmol) was dissolved in water (½ ml) at 50-60° C. and added to the solution of (2S)-2-Ethoxy-3-{4-[2-(10H-phenoxazin-10-yl)ethoxy]phenyl}propanoic acid, heated to reflux.
