Procedure
Combine 3-(2-chloro-ethyl)-6-[2-[6-methyl-(pyridin-2-yl)]-5,6-dihydro-4H-pyrrolo[1,2-b]pyrazol-3-yl]-3H-quinazolin-4-one (Example 6; 30 mg, 0.07 mmol) and morpholine (1 mL) in a pressure tube. Seal the tube and place in a microwave reactor. Radiate the mixture and heat at 140° C. for 1 h. The crude product is purified with silica gel chromatography, using dichloromethane to 10:1 dichloromethane/methanol as eluting solvents to give 25 mg (74%) of the target compound. MS ES+ m/e 457.5 (M+1). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD2Cl2) δ 8.3 (d, J=2.0 Hz, 1H), 8.0 (s, 1H), 7.7 (dd, J=8.0, 2 Hz, 1H), 7.6 (m, 2H), 7.5(d, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 7.0 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 4.3 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 4.1 (t, J=5.6 Hz, 2H), 3.6 (m, 4H), 3.1 (t, J=6.8 Hz, 2H), 2.7 (m, 4H), 2.5 (m, 4H), 2.4 (s, 3H).
