Procedure
The title compound was prepared from 5-bromo-1-[4-(tert-butyl)benzyl]-1H-indole (Step 1 of Example 34) and 4-chlorophenylboronic acid in substantially the same manner, as described in Step 2 of Example 25. The product was obtained as an oil. Mass spectrum (ESI, [M+H]+) m/z 374. 1HNMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 7.82 (d, 1H, J=1.52 Hz), 7.66 (d, 2H, J=8.55 Hz), 7.55-7.53 (m, 2H), 7.46 (d, 2H, J=8.55 Hz), 7.39 (d, 1H, J=8.56 Hz), 7.31 (d, 2H, J=8.40 Hz), 7.13 (d, 2H, J=8.24 Hz), 6.53 (d, 1H, J=3.05 Hz), 5.39 (s, 2H), and 1.21 ppm (s, 9H). Elemental Analysis for C25H24ClN: Calculated: C, 78.05; H, 6.60; N, 3.64. Found: C, 78.02; H, 6.27; N, 3.53.
