A mixture of 2.13 g (4.68 mmol) 2-[(2,4-Dichloro-benzoyl)-(4-chloro-phenyl)-amino]-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester, 2.5 ml acetic acid and 7.5 ml HCl conc. in 10 ml dioxane was heated to 60° C. for 2 h. The mixture was subjected to reversed phase HPLC purification eluting with an acetonitrile/water gradient to yield after evaporation of the product fractions 0.955 g (48%) of the title compound. MS (m/e): 429.1 (MH+, 100%)
