Reaction Steps
To a solution of N-[1-[2-[1-(2-aminoethyl)cyclohexyl]ethyl]piperidin-4-yl]-N-(p-tolyl)-2-furancarboxamide (synthesized in Example 18) (199 mg) in dichloromethane (3 mL) were added 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (100 mg) and p-chlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride (100 mg) successively. The solution was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The reaction solution was diluted with chloroform, washed in turn with saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution and saturated aqueous sodium chloride solution, and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified by chromatography [NH silica gel, hexane-ethyl acetate (7:3)] to give the title compound (181 mg).
