The Dess-Martin reagent (56 mg, 0.131 mmol) was added to a solution of 7,8-bis(4-chlorophenyl)-2-(3-ethoxy-2-hydroxypropyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazin-3(2H)-one, prepared as described in Example 29, (50 mg, 0.109 mmol) in 1 mL of CH2Cl2. The reaction was stirred for 2 h., filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude material was purified by reverse phase HPLC to give the title compound, 7,8-bis(4-chlorophenyl)-2-(3-ethoxy-2-oxopropyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazin-3(2H)-one, (47 mg, 95% yield) as a yellow solid. MS [M+H]+: found 457.
