Reaction Steps
According to the procedure of Example 1, Step E above, 43 mg (0.079 mmole) of (S)-4-(dipentylcarbamoyl)-1-(N-(3-chlorophenyl)-N-phenylcarbamoyl)piperazine-2-carboxylic acid, 12 mg (0.087 mmole) of HOBt, 21 mg (0.111 mmole) of EDAC, and 31 mg (0.158 mmole) of N-(2-methoxybenzyl)-N-methylethylenediamine after purification by flash chromatography on 16 g of silica gel eluting with 100:4 CH2Cl2 :methanol provided 48 mg (84%) of an oil.
