Reaction Steps
4,5-Dihydro-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amine (0.16 g), 4-amino-2,6-dimethylphenyl acetate (0.2 g), and toluene-4-sulfonic acid (0.02 g) were refluxed in toluene under nitrogen for 8 hours. Evaporation and chromatography (silica, dichloromethane/ethyl acetate [95:5]) of the residue gave the title product (0.15 g), as a solid.
