A solution of the product from Example AG ((2S)-4-methyl-2-[(4-phenyl-piperazine-1-carbonyl)-amino]-pentanoic acid) (0.93 g, 2.9 mmol) and the product from Example A ((S)-2-amino-3-(4-benzyloxy-phenyl)-propionic acid tert-butyl ester) (1.0 g, 2.9 mmol) were coupled according to the procedure described in Example AH. The reaction mixture was purified by chromatography (silica gel, 1:1 EtOAc/heptane) to give the title compound as a white crystals (0.84 g, 46%), mp=67-69° C.
