Procedure
28 g of gelatin and 13.2 g of benzotriazole were dissolved in 300 l of water. The resulting solution was stirred while maintaining at 40° C. To this solution, a solution of 17 g of silver nitrate in 100 ml of water was added over 2 minutes. This silver benzotriazole emulsion was precipitated by adjusting the pH, and an excess of salts were removed. Then the pH was adjusted to 6.30 to obtain 400 g of a silver benzotriazole emulsion.
