Reaction Steps
1.05 g 2-(3-Methoxy-6-pyridin-4-yl-pyridazin-4-yl)-6-piperidin-1-ylmethyl-1H-indole are suspended in 30 mL acetone and 690 mg NIS is added. After stirring for 30 minutes at rt, the solvent is removed in vacuo. HPLC purification affords 560 mg (43%) 3-iodo-2-(3-methoxy-6-pyridin-4-yl-pyridazin-4-yl)-6-piperidin-1-ylmethyl-1H-indole and 287 mg (27%) starting material.
