Reaction Steps
N-(3,3-Dimethyl-6-nitro-2-oxo-1-pentyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-5-yl)-N-ethyl-3-phenyl-propionamide is prepared from N-(3,3-dimethyl-6-nitro-2-oxo-1-pentyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-5-yl)-3-phenyl-propionamide (214 mg) and ethyl iodide (46 μl; 0.57 mmol) as described in Example 57b. The compound (55 mg) is obtained by flash chromatography on silica gel eluting with cyclohexane/EtOAc.
