Reaction Steps
Analogously to general procedure (III) 5,6-diamino-3,3-dimethyl-1-propyl-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-one (1.52 g) is cyclized using BrCN (3 M; 2.4 ml; 7.2 mmol) at RT in water (5 ml) and THF (13 ml). After aqueous work-up and flash chromatography on silica gel eluting with CH2Cl2/MeOH (15:1) the desired compound (1.56 g) is obtained.
