In an analogous manner to Example 11 step 4, a solution of 1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (0.49 g, 1.8 mmol) was reacted with 3-bromopropanol (0.31 mL, 3.6 mmol) to afford 3-(3-bromopropyl)-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (0.44 g, 63%) as a white solid:
