In an analogous manner to Example 11 step 4, a solution of 6-fluoro-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (0.51 g, 1.7 mmol) was reacted with 3-bromopropanol (0.25 mL, 2.8 mmol) to afford 3-(3-bromopropyl)-6-fluoro-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (0.51 g, 71%) as a white solid:
