The title compound was prepared from 8-ethynyl-4-trifluoromethyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example C.17) (178 mg, 0.5 mmol) and commercially available 5-bromo-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (121 mg, 0.5 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as a red solid (159 mg, 62%). MS (ISN) 517.1 [(M+H)+]; mp 255° C.
