Reaction Steps

The product of step (b) (1.27 g) was dissolved in THE (20 ml) at ° C. and NaH (0.115 g, 60% dispersion in oil) was added and stirred for 30 min. Ethylbromoacetate (0.66 ml) was then added and stirred for 1 h at room temperature. Ethanol was added to quench the reaction, the solvent was removed and the product washed with water and extracted with EtOAc. Purification by Flash column chromatography (30% EtOAc/hexane as eluent) gave the sub-title compound (0.716 g).
