To the compound 3-[8-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-2-(methylsulfinyl)-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl]-4-methylbenzoic acid (600 mg, 1.32 mmol) in dichloromethane (30 mL) was added N,N-diethyl-1,3-propanediamine (0.624 mL, 4.0 mol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. Solvent was removed by rotovap. Separation by HPLC with TFA afforded the title compound (695 mg, 85%). LC-MS m/z 522 (M+H)+.
