The general procedure of Example 1 (5) was repeated by use of 2-(4-chlorocinnamyl)-6-(2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-5-yl)-4-hydroxymethyl-2H-pyridazin-3-one, to thereby yield the title compound as a pale yellow powder (yield: 83.3%).
