Prepared as described above in Example 2 starting from 4,6-dichloro-2-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde and 2-butylamine to give the title compound 4-sec-butylamino-6-chloro-2-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde. 1H-NMR: δ 0.87 (m, 3H), 1.18 (m, 3H), 1.20 (m, 2H), 2.51 (s, 3H), 4.24 (m, 1H), 9.12 (br s, 1H), 10.18 (s, 1H). LC MS (m/e)=260 (MH+).
