Procedure

Using 2-Amino-4-methoxybenzothiazole (450 mg, 2.5 mmol) and 6-hydroxypicolinic acid chloride (1.5 g, 10 mmol) the title compound was obtained as a beige powder in 5% yield. MS: m/e=301 (M+).
