A solution of 2-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-7-nitro-2,3-dihydro-isoindol-1-one (110 mg, 0.35 mmol) and EtOAc (50 mL) was hydrogenated over 10% Pd/C (80 mg) at 1 atm and RT. After 2.5 h, the mixture was filtered through Celite® and concentrated in vacuo to afford the desired amine as a yellow solid.
