To a microwave tube was added 4-(biphenyl-4-ylaminomethyl)-2-fluoro-N,N-diisopropyl-nicotinamide (240 mg, 0.59 mmol, Step B), t-BuOH (3 mL), DIEA (1 mL, and aminomethyl pyridine (0.2 mL). The contents of the microwave tube were stirred for 5 min and subjected to microwave heating at 200° C. for 1 h. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by flash column chromatography (15% MeOH in EtOAc). MS (ES+): 494.2 (M+H)+.
