Procedure
In a manner analogous to Example 92B, 2.85 g of 6-(4-acetylphenyl)hexanol were converted into its mesylate and reacted with 1.78 g of 5-[3-(ethoxycarbonyl)benzoyl]-2-hydroxybenzenepropanoic acid ethyl ester to provide 2.21 g of the desired title product as a pale yellow oil.
