Reaction Steps
In a stainless steel vessel having an inner volume of about 2 l, 780 g of a dilute solution of sodium silicate was gradually mixed with 730 g of a dilute solution of sodium aluminate with stirring to obtain a sodium aluminosilicate gel which was homogeneous as a whole.
