To a solution of the product of Step C (0.60 g, 1.62 mmol) in 10 mL of MeOH was added 60 mg of a 10% Pd/C catalyst and was stirred under a H2 atmosphere (1 atm) for 7 hours. The reaction mixture was then filtered through magnesium sulfate and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to yield 0.372 g (82%) of the title compound.
