Reaction Steps
To 4 mL trifluoroacetic acid, cooled to 0° C. and stirred under argon, was added 16 (120 mg, 0.23 mmol). After 2 h, trifluoroacetic acid was removed under reduced pressure to give 15 as an off-white solid: NMR (acetone-d6) d 4.3 (2,2H), δ 7.3-8.7 (m, 12H).
