Reaction Steps
To a solution of Example 50 (0.080 g, 0.15 mmol) in 1 mL CHCl3 was added a suspension of sodium azide (0.094 g, 1.45 mmol) in TFA (0.06 mL, 0.73 mmol). The solution progressively turned dark over 1 h to afford a mixture of desired product and a byproduct resulting from dehydration. Concentrated and used as is in next reaction. LCMS [M+H]+=575.
