Hydrogenation of 0.26 g (0.54 mMol) 7-(2-amino-6-chloro-pyrimidin-4-yloxy)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-benzo[b]azepine-1-carboxylic acid (3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-amide in 15 ml methanol in the presence of 70 mg Pd/C (Engelhard 4505), filtration and column chromatography (SiO2; hexane/EtOAc 3:2→2:3) of the filtrate gives the title compound: m.p.: 207° C.; MS: [M+1]+=444/480; Anal.: C,H,N,F.
