Similar to the above procedure, the title compound was prepared from (R)-1-(4-bromophenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroethanol (2) and 3-fluorophenylboronic acid. 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 7.62(d, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 7.56 (d, J=6.3 Hz, 2H), 7.42 (m, 2H), 7.28 (m, 1H), 7.06 (m, 1H), 5.82 (q, J=5.1 Hz, 1H).
