To a solution of 4-hydroxymethyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b]thiepin-5-one (283 mg, 1.36 mmol) in 17 ml of tetrahydrofuran were added, at room temperature, triethylamine (0.21 ml, 1.5 mmol) and cyclohexyl isocyanate (682 μl, 5.56 mmol). The mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 24 hours, concentrated and purified by column chromatography on silica gel (eluent: 1:2 tert-butyl methyl ether/cyclohexane). The product was obtained in a yield of 190 mg (42%).
