Following a similar procedure to that described in Example (1b), 1.41 g of N-[(4-chlorophenyl)-(3-nitrophenyl)methyl]-N-[(R)-1-(3,5-difluorophenyl)ethyl]amine [prepared as described in step (a) above], 1.66 g of nickel chloride hexahydrate and 558 mg of sodium borohydride were reacted, to obtain 1.29 g of the title compound as a pale yellow oil.
