Twenty percent Pd/C (50 mg) was added to a solution of 3-benzyloxy-6-fluoro-7-pyrrolidinyl-1H-quinazoline-2,4-dione (Example 1, 0.21 g, 0.6 mmol) in 100 mL of THF and 100 mL of methanol. The mixture was shaken under 50 PSI of hydrogen for 4.5 hours, filtered, and concentrated to afford 0.18 g of the title compound as a solid, mp >250° C.
