1 (0.33 g, 1.5 mmol), TEA (0.209 mL, 1.5 mmol) and 2,4,6-Trimethylbenzylbromide (0.253 g, 1.5 mmol) were dissolved in 10 mL of EtOH and kept under reflux overnight. The solvent was removed and the remaining oil was purified by flash-chromatography on silica gel, applying a CHCl3/MeOH gradient.
