To a solution of tert-butyl 3-(4-(6-fluoro-1H-indol-3-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)azetidine-1-carboxylate (Step 1; 220 mg; 0.62 mmol) in MeOH (10 mL) was added saturated HCl in Et2O (5 mL). The mixture was stirred for 3 h, concentrated, and purified by preparative HPLC to afford 27.8 mg (18%) of the title compound as a white solid.
