Procedure
A mixture of (1R)-1′-[(1-{4-[(E)-2-pyridin-2-ylvinyl]phenyl}cyclopropyl)carbonyl]-3H-spiro[furo[3,4-c]pyridine-1,3′-pyrrolidin]-3-one (20 mg, 0.00004 mol, example 488), 10% Pd—C in methanol (1 mL, 0.02 mol) was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere (balloon) for 1.5 h. The reaction mixture was then filtered and concentrated to afford the desired product. LCMS: m/z 440.2 (M+H)+; 462.2 (M+Na)+.
