The title compound was prepared in 5% yield from methyl 2-(1-{2-[(methylsulfonyl)oxy]ethyl}-1H-imidazol-4-yl)pyridine-4-carboxylate (PREPARATION 6) and 4-trifluoromethyl-N-methylbenzylamine according to the procedure for the preparation of Example 58. 1HNMR (400 MHz, DMSO): δ 2.22 (3H, s), 2.73 (2H, t, J=5.8 Hz), 3.62 (2H, s), 4.16 (2H, t, J=5.9 Hz), 7.12 (1H, m), 7.21 (1H, m), 7.38 (2H, d, J=7.8 Hz), 7.54 (2H, d, J=8.2 Hz), 7.75 (1H, s), 8.29 (1H, s), 8.54 (1H, d, J=4.8 Hz).
