Reaction Steps
To a solution of N-[(1R)-2-{[tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl]oxy}-1-(5-formylthiophen-2-yl)ethyl]-1,3-benzothiazole-6-sulfonamide (5.0 g, 10.4 mmol) and 2-methylpropane-2-sulfinamide (1.51 g, 12.4 mmol) in THF (69 mL) was added titanium isopropoxide (6.52 mL, 31.1 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight.
