Reaction Steps

To a 2-5 mL microwave irradiation vial equipped with a stir bar was added compound 4c (0.09 g, 0.17 mmol) in 1,2-dichlorobenzene (3 mL). The reaction was irradiated with stirring at 180° C. for 45 min until complete by TLC (Et2O/n-hexane 1:9). The solution was directly added to a silica gel column, which was eluted with n-hexane to separate the 1,2-dichlorobenzene and then Et2O/n-hexane 2:8 to collect the pure product. The title compound was isolated as a light yellow oil in a 92% yield (0.083 g).
