Reaction Steps

To a 2-5 mL microwave irradiation vial equipped with a stir bar was added compound 14a (0.057 g, 0.12 mmol) in 1,2-dichlorobenzene (2 mL). The reaction was irradiated with stirring at 225° C. for 60 min until complete by TLC (AcOEt/n-hexane 2:8). The solution was directly added to a silica gel column, which was eluted with n-hexane to separate the 1,2-dichlorobenzene and then AcOEt/n-hexane 2.5:8.5 to collect the pure product. The title compound was isolated as a yellow solid in an 89% yield (0.050 g).
