Reaction Steps

To a 10-20 mL microwave irradiation vial equipped with a stir bar was added compound 14b (0.18 g, 0.41 mmol) in 1,2-dichlorobenzene (10 mL). The reaction was irradiated with stirring at 225° C. for 60 min until complete by TLC (AcOEt/n-hexane 1:9). The solution was directly added to a silica gel column, which was eluted with n-hexane to separate the 1,2-dichlorobenzene and then AcOEt/n-hexane 1:9 to collect the pure product. The title compound was isolated as a white solid in a quantitative yield (0.19 g).
