To a mixture of 2-chloro-N-methyl-5-(pyridin-4-yl)-7-tosyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-amine (0.041 g, 0.091 mmol) in nBuOH (0.8 mL) was added 6-aminoindazole (0.024 g, 0.18 mmol) and TMSCl (0.03 mL, 0.23 mmol). After heating at 115° C. for 48 h, the mixture was purified by preparative HPLC to give N2-(1H-indazol-6-yl)-N4-methyl-5-(pyridin-4-yl)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2,4-diamine (0.011 g), MS (MH 357.1), λ=214.5, 247.5, 306.8.
