Reaction Steps

Using a method similar to Example 455, step 3, using 2-thiophen-2-yl-ethylamine (0.027 mL, 0.227 mmol) and 4-(5-formyl-pyridin-2-yloxy)-benzamide (58 mg, 0.239 mmol) from step 1 (above) gives the title compound (23 mg, 27%). Mass spectrum (ion spray): m/z=353.9 (M+1); 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): 8.08 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 1H), 7.93 (bs, 1H), 7.89 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 2H), 7.82 (dd, J=2.3 Hz, 8.3 Hz, 1H), 7.31 (bs, 1H), 7.27 (dd, J=1.0 Hz, 5.2 Hz, 1H), 7.12 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 2H), 7.02 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 1H), 6.90 (dd, J=3.5 Hz, 5.2 Hz, 1H), 6.84 (d, J=3.3 Hz, 1H), 3.68 (S, 2H), 2.91 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 2.72 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 2.25 (bs, N—H).
