Compound 117b was prepared in the same manner as (S)-1-[(S)-2-((S)-2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-3-methyl-butyrylamino)-3-pyrazol-1-yl-propionyl]-hexahydro-pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid 2,2,2-trichloro-ethyl ester using (S)-1-((S)-2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-3-methoxy-propionyl)-hexahydro-pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid 2,2,2-trichloro-ethyl ester (750 mg, 1.62 mmol) instead of (S)-1-((S)-2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-3-pyrazol-1-yl-propionyl)-hexahydro-pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid 2,2,2-trichloro-ethyl ester to afford the title compound as a viscous oil (700 mg, 77%) and as a 1:1 mixture of two diastereoisomers. LCMS (m/z) 563.3 [M+H], Tr=2.81 min.
