The title compounds were made using the techniques of Examples 1 and 2, but substituting 6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4-oxo-10-propyl-4H-naphtho-[2,3-b]pyran-2-carboxylic acid sodium salt for the 6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-5-hydroxy-4-oxo-10-propyl-4H-naphtho-[2,3-b]pyran-2-carboxylic acid sodium salt. the product compounds were identified and characterised by gas liquid chromatographic nuclear magnetic resonnance spectrometry and other analytical techniques.
