Reaction of the compound of Example 10 with DAST (diethylaminosulfur trifluoride) gave 5-[2-[5-[[1-butyl-3-(1-fluorobutyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]methyl]-2-pyridinyl]phenyl]-1H-tetrazole: NMR (CDCL3) δ 0.91 (t, J=7 Hz, 3H), 0.99 (t, J=7 Hz, 3H), 1.22-1.63 (m, 4H), 1.71-2.28 (m, 4H), 4.03 (t, J=7 Hz, 2H), 4.14 (s, 2H), 5.52 (ddd, J=48, 9, and 6 Hz, 1H), 7.23 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H), 7.38-7.50 (m, 3H), 7.69 (dd, J=9 and 2 Hz, 1H), 7.80-7.88 (m, 1H), 8.53 (d, J=2 Hz, 1H); MS(EC) m/e (rel intensity) 435(100); HRMS.
