Reaction Steps
A solution of the title compound of Example 94 (0.180 g), Pd/Ba2SO4 (10%, 75.3 mg), and pyridine (5 mL) in EtOAc (25 mL) is maintained under an atmosphere of H2 (balloon) for 3 hrs, then filtered over celite. The crude product is recrystallized from EtOAc/hexanes to afford 81.6 mg of the desired product as an off-white solid.
